Quest for New York: Day Four, the Epic Conclusion

I apologize for the lateness of this post, however yesterday was preoccupied with other activities. Yesterday was a pretty easy conclusion to our trek with only a six hour drive between Erie Pennsylvania and Albany/Troy New York.  The track was easy but waterlogged. It rained heavily the whole way and as a consequence, no New York State sign.

We arrived in Troy around 3:30 and met Stuart’s landlord about keys upon arrival. Moving in was also waterlogged and took us about an hour to complete. The apartment is small but reasonably well maintained and his only (at the moment) roommate seems to be respectful of public areas and clean. He is a computer engineering grad student in his fourth year and seems nice enough.

Next we grabbed food at a local brewery (Stuart gives the thumbs-up) and then picked-up some necessities at Wal-Mart, a much different affair on the East Coast.  The night ended in some final touches and a movie, settling into the new abode.

Today, we plan on exploring the campus and some restaurants and tomorrow, we're going to visit the farmer's market and check out a local festival on the riverfront.
